I still felt as if I was reading about two “new” characters, even though there was some overlapping when it came to their characterization. Also, she left her last job because she was dating the boss’s son and they had a messy break-up.

Kind of imagined Ryder either Tom Hardy or Hugh Jackman, for some reason, mostly for the mannerisms, how he’s more the quiet type, has a dog by his side, etc.

There was nothing about them as a couple that had me interested in their story and excited to see them together.

The resolution of the ghost story was quaint if a bit overly dramatic. Nobody does dialogue, amazing friendships, and sibling silliness like Nora.

This book and it’s interactions just felt so refreshing and real to me, it’s hard to describe. Their scenes reminded me of the best friends scenes in Nora Roberts Bridal Quartet series and was a major reason why I enjoyed that series so much.
